Imagine pedaling through the vibrant streets of Los Angeles, uncovering hidden gems that are often overlooked. Picture yourself gliding past stunning landscapes, iconic architecture, and lively hotspots while enjoying the fresh air and the thrill of exploration. This is the essence of CicLAvia, an organization dedicated to transforming the way we experience the City of Angels.

CicLAvia opens up a world of adventure, allowing you to traverse routes that showcase Los Angeles's rich history. As you ride, you’ll encounter vibrant murals, charming neighborhoods, and fascinating historical landmarks that tell the story of this diverse city. But it’s not just about the sights; it’s also about the people. CicLAvia creates opportunities for connection, bringing together individuals who share a passion for cycling and community engagement. Whether you’re chatting with fellow riders or participating in local activities, you’ll discover a sense of camaraderie that enriches your experience.

Through these shared adventures, CicLAvia fosters a deeper relationship with the community and with each other. It’s a chance to step outside your routine, embrace the joy of movement, and engage with the vibrant culture of Los Angeles. Koreatown and Hollywood were the previous cities that CicLAvia had people travel through via bike route. The theme was "Koreatown meets Hollywood", which connected Hollywood, East Hollywood, Melrose Hill, and Koreatown.

Go at your own pace. It is not a race. This is not a competition like the original 5K Walk and Runs or the LA Marathon, which have specific starting and finishing points. Instead, you can start wherever you want and enjoy the day in your own way. CicLAvia allows traffic to flow in two directions, and participants can walk, run, skate, bike, unicycle, or use e-bikes to explore various parts of Los Angeles County. Local Gems can also be found en route. CicLavia has a list on their website: Local Gems: Koreatown meets Hollywood

The next schedule event will take place:
May 18, 2025, 10 am —3 pm at the CicLAmini—Pico Union. For more information, check out the CicLAvia website: https://www.ciclavia.org/ciclamini_pico_union25
